After decades of jewelry fabrication, I felt a creative need to move on to larger pieces. My work is hand-fabricated by me out of sheet stock or tubing, and composed primarily of copper, brass, and silver. Art Deco-inspired geometric designs are either high-polished or patinated and always covered with a clear powder coating to prevent compromise to the finish. Some are adorned with gemstones. My work ranges in size from fine table pieces such as perfume bottles and salt-and-pepper shakers to five-foot garden fountains. In recent years, I have found a passion for making one-of-a-kind purses. I find it both challenging and rewarding, and my clients appreciate the unique, whimsical designs and the notion of functional art.
