I make functional pottery for everyday enjoyment. Pots are wheel thrown salt/soda fired which gives them a very unique surface. The salt and soda ash interact with the clay body to provide a beautiful sheen on the pieces; They are stoneware and fired to cone 10. Each pot is different as the atmosphere in the kiln is influenced by each nearby piece. I make pieces for serving as well as dinnerware sets . My interest is in growing food and serving on handmade dinnerware and bowls, mugs and all things for the table
