My unique process of kiln-forming glass allows me to interact with my medium using an array of exciting, insightful, rich, and muted hues in controlled heat. Using advanced techniques, I play with the glass while it is moving through its “melted” state at 1700° F to create a modernistic Rorschach stripe. What is created? It is unknown until I work on the material while it is cold, during the second of numerous processes where that surprise is revealed. These vibrant stripes are integrated with the sophistication of glossy black, then bent, and accented by my signature abstract sandblasted designs. Each edge is polished to create a professional finish and enhance the cleanliness of the art. Simple and refined shapes of stainless steel provide a backdrop to display the elegant designs as three-dimensional wall art.
