I make original, one of a kind jewelry in bead embroidery and bead weaving, based on styles and motifs from the past. Materials are very-good-to-fine glass, crystals, semiprecious stones and freshwater pearls, with most fittings either handwoven or cast of silver, gold filled, pewter or bronze. I use both new and vintage/antique elements. Each piece is made meticulously crafted with needle and thread, one bead at a time. I derive great pleasure in spending the many hours that may be necessary so that each piece is a work of art. Pieces must also be comfortable to wear and suitable for modern uses.
