I make original, one of a kind pieces of art jewelry in bead embroidery and bead weaving with glass, crystal, semiprecious stones and pearls. Motifs are often inspired by historical models, and vintage materials are mixed with good quality modern supplies. Meticulous craftsmanship is used to produce detailed, precise and wearable articles. As a sole artist who spends many hours realizing her works with needle and thread, one bead at a time, my production is limited. Every piece has a story — a stone from India, a glass cameo from a nineteenth century warehouse, a design from the court of Elizabeth I. The observant, discerning Chautauqua community is very much my favorite forum.
