A good friend once called my work “seriously whimsical”. I work in acrylics mixed with other media on wood cradled boards and heavy watercolor paper. The compositions evolve spontaneously, or intuitively, or both, using my preferred iconography of stylized birds, trees, houses, critters, boats, ladders, flags and whatever else appears and fits in with the theme.
