I like to describe my clothing as clean lines, functional, supple, quiet, yet lush with color and rich with texture. I like to juxtapose texture like the scratchy stiff feeling of organza and the liquid feeling of silk charmeuse to create garments that will evolve from season to season, referencing textile history. I use surface design techniques and play with color and texture to create unusual combinations to create a body of work work that is timeless and modern.
