Fine Craft and Art Shows at Chautauqua July 10 –12 & August 7– 9, 2026
I am an artist, designer and craftsman of signature collections "one piece at a time" jewelry. The key to my creations is imagination and creativity. Stone cutting & polishing is the first process in order to obtain the superior quality. The metal I use is 92.5 sterling silver. I sketch and design the artwork with the stones in front of me. Subsequent is wax carving - where the wax is heated so that it molds around the gemstone. I use blade and other hand tools to shave and carve the wax to obtain the desired shape and forming the plaster. The plaster model completed through the wax carving process is then casted with silver. The next stage is cutting of the gemstones accordingly. I then solder and weld the casted silver model for the gemstone setting. Gemstone setting is one of the last key processes wherein durability is the key. I then polish using rotary wheels and gentle muslin.
