Fine Craft and Art Shows at Chautauqua July 11–13 & August 8 –10, 2025
I’m a semi-retired grandmother who loves working with wood. Each board is made from select hardwoods – mostly maple, cherry, walnut, and sapele. They each have non-marking rubber bumpers attached with stainless steel screws, and most boards also have finger grooves cut into the ends to make it easier to pick the board up. All are hand-sanded and then finished with food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. We also include a complimentary jar of the beeswax mixture with each board. You may be asking yourself: What’s with the BAMA tag on each board? Well, my grandchildren call me Bama and one day while the kids were “working” with me in the shop, my 3-year-old didn’t really know that I was making cutting boards. He just called them Bama boards, and so that’s why I put the metal BAMA tag on them!
