Handmade mosaics. I carve, impress & incise porcelain clay to create bas-relief tile and mosaic elements. After drying & bisque firing, I use a brush to glaze each element with glazes I've developed. Many have multiple glazes brushed onto their surface. High-fired to 2300 degrees to develop color & strength. I create original compositions & use traditional tile setting techniques to make them permanent. Durable works of art to hang on a wall or be installed inside or outdoors.
