I have been making jewelry since 1999. Working from a background in graphic design, I began studying various techniques of jewelry making from every available source. I incorporate ideas, textures, and components from nature and history, mixing them all up to create jewelry that blurs the line between familiar and fresh.
I work mainly in silver metal clay. I like how this material lets me put my hands into each piece and offers such a high level of detail and delicacy. I combine traditional silversmith techniques with the sculptural qualities of the clay to make one-of-a-kind and limited-edition jewelry.
