The natural environment surrounding my rural home provides both materials and inspiration for my fiber art. I forage in the meadows and woods to collect plants for natural dyeing, paper making and weaving. I also find seed pods and leaves that make their way into some of my felted and stitched pieces. Salvaged and vintage fabrics and mill end yarns are incorporated in my work too. My passion for textiles drives me to learn new techniques so I have the fullest ability to express myself through my fiber art. I enjoy combining techniques and materials in new and unexpected ways.
