I am a fiber artist. Training started as a child of the 50's with my family through the 70's with Textile Arts degrees ,Fellowships and Master of Art Ed. Ever since 1978 I have been in my Chester County Studio producing and marketing hand woven Clothing, machine knit silk boucle garments and currently hand-dyed fine silks and blends for accessories and clothing. My job title is dyer/colorist. Currently Hand-dyed fine silks and blends for accessories and Clothing. Procion + Acid dyes applied in colorways. Using bolts of silk fabrics I cut styles individually. I apply Shibori techniques, Tying and wrapping while reducing color and adding color and texture and finishing. Now teaching Surface Print at Moore College of Art
