I work in traditional vitreous cloisonne enamel fired in layers at 1500F. Each piece is inspired by color and creating a sense of a watercolor in glass. For many pieces I get inspiration from my collection of stones. I use the stones in the enamel to reflect their individuality and their shapes are part of the composition. I individually fabricate each setting in gold and silver to give a sense of movement.
