My passion is weaving with the thinnest of fine silk, bamboo, and Tencel threads. I combine these in colorful ways, using complex weave structures which often create reversible textiles that look different from different angles. This keeps a piece alive. Each scarf is unique, and each piece of this wearable art is hand-finished with a row of double hemstitching and twisted or braided fringe to give it a polished and elegant look. This year's collection also includes scarves that are woven with yarn from the Ground to Good thread project. This yarn is made from plastic bottles gathered in Haiti. I've combined the Good thread yarn with bamboo, lambswool, and Tencel to create some incredibly soft and warm scarves.
