My hand-dyed garments for women start as white or natural cloth. Each piece is dyed in multiple, layered processes. All pieces are designed, dyed, and hand-sewn by me. Each of my pieces is one of a kind. I may repeat the shape, but the design is unique. A garment is really a sculptural form which is not complete until it finds its owner, since the body provides the final element of the total design. Each person gets her own work of art, chosen and worn only by her. I also have a small line of reversible jackets that are made with commercial cloth as well as a small line of pre-sewn "blanks" that I dye. These items are less expensive than my other pieces, and though not exactly one of a kind, no two are exactly alike, either.
