Hello, my name is Jaime Foster and I am an intuitive artist from Fredonia NY. I create mixed media pieces and jewelry. However, this application will be focused solely on the jewelry aspect, as I have submitted a separate application for the mixed media. My pieces are created intuitively. I go into a piece with an open mind, without any preconceived designs drawn out to follow, or already in mind. I grab my tools, and materials and go to work. I never know what I will end up with. I do not use jigs or molds for my pieces, and do not typically use any power tools during the process. Most of my pieces are one of a kind. However, I do have a few designs that I make multiple variations of such as my woven bracelets that have been included in the upload. I currently work with copper and sterling silver, and will be rolling out pieces in 14k goldfilled by the summer of 2023.
