The framework for each piece of jewelry is fabricated from sterling silver rectangle wire and sheet. The inlaid images are textured fine silver. Over the images, colored epoxy resin is applied one color at a time using a needle tipped syringe. Each color is cured in a hot box for two hours. Once all the color is applied and cured a clear resin fills the frame. Finally, the surface is sanded and polished to a high shine. In person, the colors read metallic. I am inspired by colors, patterns and images found in history and stories.
