Fine Craft and Art Shows at Chautauqua July 10 –12 & August 7– 9, 2026
Although my degrees were in Math and an MBA, most of my electives were in hands-on art. We grew up with a mom who was an artist, and we all learned to never be afraid to explore artistically. Though I dabbled in college in other art forms, I landed on metalsmithing. Because of this background, it has allowed me to create a unique interpretation in precious metals. All of my work is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind pieces. Different forming techniques, such as fabrication in fold forming, air chasing, and forging are used to transform a static sheet of sterling silver into unique objects of fluidity. They are each strong based on the process, yet lighter in weight, bold yet feminine. In addition, 14kt gold, gemstones, and/or pearls are added to enhance the richness of each piece of wearable sculpture. Patina is applied to impart a subtle feeling of depth.
