Deborah Armstrong has always been creating something. From summer camp through college, her career as a model maker for special effects at Industrial Light and Magic or VP in advertising at Doyle Dane Bernbach NYC, designing has been at the core of everything she has done. She majored in art and art history at the University of Colorado, was classically trained at Cecelia Bauer’s studio in NYC where she alloyed gold, practiced granulation, pulled wire and forged metals applying techniques used by the ancient Greeks. At Parson’s, she learned wax carving and how to make molds to duplicate her designs. Deborah’s jewelry has been featured in many top fashion magazines and is now worn by celebrities including Halle Berry, Jennifer Connelly, Faith Hill, Heidi Klum, Diane Sawyer, Marisa Tomei, Diane Von Furstenberg, Sharon Stone and Vanessa Williams. She has also been a featured artist in museum exhibitions and won numerous national awards.
