I have a strong interest in the Shaker and Arts and Crafts movements. I am inspired by the integrity of craftsmanship and purity of design that exemplifies these movements. Much of my work is accented by laminating many small pieces of wood together to form unique inlay designs. All veneer work is done entirely by hand. I like to create functional pieces that are elegant in design and honor the natural characteristics of the wood.
