Fine Craft Shows at Chautauqua July 11–13 & August 8 –10, 2025
I have always been a "noticer" of things, especially humans. During my 20+ years as a social worker, I always felt as if intuition, not my "training" was what guided my work. It is this same intuitive hand, coupled with the blessing of a "good eye" that guides my artwork. I can feel the shapes and colors as I sketch, cut, paint, or even think. The folks in our work are people that we know. My husband's engineering and design skills bring our work to life. The pieces are the result of our joyful collaboration, with our ideas translated into colorful wooden pieces that celebrate life and all it's possibilities. Our work is made of wood, paint, glue, and some embellishments of yarn, fabric, wire, or anything else that strikes our fancy.
