The sea speaks to me. My hand fabricated jewelry is an exploration of the ocean environment and the fauna that reside under its surface. The settings for the natural shells and gemstones are fabricated out of gold sheets and wires. The tentacles are sculpted by forging round sterling wires on an anvil to create a fluid sense of motion. Traditional blacksmithing techniques and hand tools are the foundation of my metals practice.
