Anna Overmoyer of Paper Spirits is a traditional fantasy sculptor.  Her work focuses on naturalistic, eerily stylized fairy folk and mythical subjects. Her creations incorporate a delicate mix of media: often including fiber, polymer, paper mache, acrylic paint, wood, and found objects. Spirits were created to fill the gaps in our understanding of the world. They take over where science and fact leave off, allowing for unhindered imagination.  That grey area is the infinite resource that fuels Anna's work.
