We are a husband and wife team, each bringing unique skills to the cutting board making process. Aaron's grandpa taught him the joy of fine woodworking at an early age, and he has continued that legacy over the past 25 years. Jen was a complete novice when she and Aaron first met, but has learned a great deal from him about woodworking, and brings an eye for design and detail to the team. We both find wood to be naturally beautiful and love how our cutting boards bring functional art into the kitchen. We specialize in end grain cutting boards, and much of the wood used is harvested, milled, and dried on our own property. We intentionally exploit the natural grain patterns in each piece of wood to create organic arrangements that make each one of our cutting boards entirely unique. We also take extreme care with the hand sanding and finishing process, as we feel it is important that each board feels as good as it looks and functions.
