GREETINGS FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In keeping with the Crafts Alliance, Inc. by-laws, the Board of Directors met in January to review the past show season, conduct elections and pass a budget for 2014. The CA Board consists of representatives from many vocations. Included are several professional craft artists, an art gallery curator, a craft art gallery owner, an administrative assistant, a lawyer, an accountant, a public school art teacher, a retired college craft professor, and several members of the public that have long standing connection to the crafts world. The Board has been very supportive in the effort to continually improve the success of the Craft Shows at Chautauqua.

I am pleased to report that applications for the 2014 season are running ahead of previous years with many new names included in the mix. I would like to remind everyone that professional quality photographs are essential to provide the panel of evaluators the best representation of your work.
